It is your duty of care to ensure the health and well being of employees and participants.
Whenever groups of people attend there is always the potential risk of injuries or illness where first aid is required and critical.
ERMQ is available to minimise your possible risks to ensure your event is compliant and to assist in your legal and moral responsibility of care.
Event organiser have a duty of care under the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 to provide a safe operational environment and ensure so far as reasonably practicable that
- people are not exposed to risks
- Employees and self employed
work is safe
A process must be introduced to identify, assess and control risks. Involves identifying all hazards and risks also procedures to have controls in place to eliminate the hazards and risks.
Have plans in place to deal with an incident which could cause harm to human life, property or the environment.
