It gives us great pleasure to welcome you to the first Emergency Response Team Conference 2017.
Our goal is to expand and deliver this type of conference annually and keep up to date with new techniques with industry best practice
We have delegates from a variety of departments which are all vital within our industry to assist with the significant disruption, damage, injury and loss of life. Our preparedness and our capacity to respond to such incidents which directly impacts outcomes.
The continual exchange of ideas and best practice will result in improved techniques with our industry and benefit areas within our emergency sector and on the ground during incidents.
We have engaged a diverse program with keynote speakers delivering the ever increasing depth and knowledge of the emergency sector.

Alan Baxter is considered a subject matter expert when it comes to
O H & S having worked at a number of Australia’s largest mining operations. His current full time role is as the Safety, Training & Rescue Coordinator for Evolution Mining.
Alan has over 20 years public fire sector. He maintains an operational response role, as well as holding formal qualifications in emergency management, paramedical science, security risk management as well as vocational training and assessment.

Lost 5 mates to suicide after the conflict.
Lost son to suicide.

Now walking the journey to recovery. Sober since Oct 16.
Mission: Encourage struggling soldiers and veterans to accept the support that is available and de-stigmatize mental health.
